The story

My work exists at the intersection of craft, sculpture, and storytelling. Using ceramic as my primary material, I explore the boundary between the functional and the figurative.

I am interested in how objects can embody character and narrative. Faces, symbolic motifs, and illustrated surfaces often emerge in my work, transforming simple forms into suggestive presences that appear both familiar and slightly enigmatic. These elements invite the viewer to imagine the stories that might exist within or around the objects.

My work draws inspiration from folklore, poetic imagery, and imagined narratives. Rather than presenting fixed meanings, the objects function as open-ended forms—fragments of stories that invite interpretation and personal association. In this way, I am interested in how objects can carry a quiet sense of presence and narrative possibility.
